As of November 0#, 2009, Sony has started marketing MAG (Massive Action Game) in Japan by providing a long 12-page manual. And of course, all in Japanese. The PDF file explains what each button on the controller does, the game-play and menu of the game in general along with the usual terms of service information… I presume this will be the condensed version, if not the actual manual for the game when it reaches stores in Japan on January 28, 2010, two days after the North American release. Comment in bold has not reached wikipedia yet, suckers. Hehehe…
Japan known for its RPG gaming industry isn’t very big with their multi-player first person shooters and Sony wants to change that with their 256 on-line player game. The SOCOM creators hope to entice Japanese gamers with an insight into a game not much known in EU and NA itself, aside from the Beta by giving more details about it.
If you want to read the 12-page manual, you can get it here. In addition, I’m not entirely sure, but I feel that a demo to the game will be available or is already in the PS Store Japan. While, a North American and European version may or may not come. No word yet. But, stay tuned for further details.
